We are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk for a well-established, friendly team at a healthcare provider in the Chesterfield area. The main function of this role is to ensure timely and accurate supplier invoice accounting and payment.

The role is a full time 6 month fixed term contract with an immediate start date.

As part of your role as Accounts Payable Clerk you'll be responsible for the following:

  • Invoice Validation and authorization alongside goods receipt confirmation
  • Supplier payments
  • Handling queries with suppliers and managing conversations to deadlines to support business and suppliers needs
  • Purchase ordering
  • Supplier statement reconciliation and queries, obtain, reconcile, document and resolve reconciliations with third parties
  • Process improvement

To be successful for the role:

  • An understanding of VAT
  • Good understanding of Sage or other SME finance system purchase ledger processes
  • AAT or CCAB qualification is desirable
  • Excellent understanding of Purchase to Pay processes
  • Resilience and persistence
  • Excel and Microsoft experience
