Bookkeeper

Location: Northwood, Middlesex

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (Pro Rata)

Hours: Part Time, 3 days per week (9am – 6pm)

If so, our clients have a great position available with a salary of up to £35,000 pro rata.

The company has become an integral part of the local community, building a reputation for friendly, professional service. They are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their friendly, non-corporate, family-run team.

The Role

Working in the Property Industry and using Xero to work with the team and manage:

• Rentman (Software for Residential Sales, Lettings & Property Management), reconcile to the bank accounts and transfer the income to Xero.
• Blocks Online (Software for Residential Block Management) - produce annual service charge and ground rent demands, keep records of costs and invoices
• Manage Xero, reconcile to the bank account
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Manage Accounts sales and purchase ledges as well as accounts receivable and payables
• Deal with external Block contractors
• Attend block AGM's
• Maintain Companies House records
• Ensure all Accounts are filed on time
• Arrange relevant Insurances with brokers
• Maintain company utility and services contracts

Skills and Experience

• AAT Qualified
• Knowledge of Xero preferred (Minimum 2 years experience)
• Knowledge of Rentman/Blocks Online software (Beneficial but not essential)
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills and telephone manner
• Competence of Excel, Word and Outlook
• Property Experience (Desirable but not essential)
