Our Client is an International Freight Forwarding company providing international and logistical needs from 3PL to sea, road and air freight.  Due to increased global growth, they are looking to appoint a Part Time Freight Sales Administrator to join their team in Essex.

The support provided by the Part Time Freight Sales Administrator will help build strong relationships with current and potential customers.

Part Time Freight Sales Administrator duties include:

• Assist the head of sales with statistic gathering, report writing, database management
• Maintain and update the SharePoint database for filed customer rates
• Compile monthly reports of actual turnover from new accounts
• Compile lists of new addresses input to iMove, and send details to Head of Sales
• Maintain and report on stock levels of sales materials, brochures, place new orders.
• Report internal sales leads to the S ales team
• Compile lists of sales leads based on lapsed accounts
• Evaluate and breakdown yearly turnover figures into individual reports for the S ales team
• Regular contact with Freight Forwarding Department to compile list of sales leads from external enquiries
• Maintain, monitor and forward sales leads from operational depots

Skills, Experience and Competencies required from the Part Time Freight Sales Administrator:

• Proficient with Microsoft packages especially Excel as well as have general PC knowledge
• Must be able to prioritise and organise own workload with attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• General understanding of logistics processes and procedures (desirable)
• Previous experience working in sales (desirable)

You'll be organised by nature and will thrive in a fast paced and dynamic atmosphere , having excellent attention to detail skills, as well as being good with numbers and a confident communicator are imperative attributes.

Working hours are 24 hours per week, in return for a salary up to £15,000, in line with previous experience.
