Receptionist and Facilities Support Part-time - 2 days per week

We own and manage c.7,500 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities. Here at Havebury Housing, we are looking for a Receptionist and Facilities Support (Part-time - 2 days per week) to join our incredible team! This will be for two full days per week, ideally one of those days being a Tuesday (we can be flexible), with hours of 8.30-17.00. We do require flexibility with this role for emergency cover and holiday cover.

The purpose of this role is to represent Havebury with a positive and professional first impression to all customers at our Head Office. To oversee the incoming and outgoing post to all teams daily and to support the Health, Safety and Facilities Team with administrative help on a range of projects as they arise.

Requirements

Outline of Key Responsibilities...

  • To provide a professional reception service to corporate visitors and residents to ensure a positive customer experience
  • To liaise with colleagues to ensure customer service standards are met
  • To manage customer demand by signposting customers to the relevant department internally, or partner agency externally
  • To provide additional hours to cover holiday and absence of the Facilities Co-ordinator as required
  • To distribute incoming post to the relevant teams and accept deliveries into the company
  • To manage the reception mailbox email correspondence

We are looking for someone who has...

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience of working with a range of Customers
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 360 (especially Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook)
  • Proactive approach to resolving issues and understanding service demands and trends
  • Flexibility to cover staff leave and absence
