Job Title: Credit Controller

Location: Preston, Lancashire

Pay Bracket: £25,000 - £30,000 (Pro-Rata).

We are looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join Simpson Judge in our Preston Office. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a business with excellent working culture and exposure opportunities. This role will report to the existing finance team, you will be responsible for managing our credit control functions on a day-to-day basis. There will also be some general office administration as part of the daily duties.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Management of the credit control function within the business.
• Ensuring credit limits and customer payment terms remain accurate on the system
• Building rapport with customers to ensure cash collection targets are met
• Regular review of credit reports
• Collaborate with sales teams to ensure timely resolution of customer queries
• Providing reports on accounts receivable analysis and potential exposure to overdue balances
• Other ad-hoc tasks within the accounts function.

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Experience with Xero
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good organisational and time-keeping skills
• High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role
• Good IT and MS Excel skills
