Description

  • Oversee and manage financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
  • Perform daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
  • Generate reports and statements for internal use.
  • Analyse transactions and prepare reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality of organisational information.
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients by answering queries and providing financial advice.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting & Finance team.

Profile

A successful Part Time Bookkeeper should have:

  • Proven bookkeeping experience.
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
