Lecturer - 3D Design

Here at Kingston College, we are seeking a Lecturer to deliver a range of specialist 3D Art and Design skills, techniques and processes to students on our popular practical vocational courses from Level 1 to Level 5. You will produce schemes of work, monitor their delivery, supervise assessment, provide internal verification and, if necessary, liaise with external verifiers/moderators.

We’re looking for someone who holds a degree or professional qualification in an area relevant to 3D Design and who has experience of effectively monitoring and supporting learners to achieve or exceed their potential, with a strong commitment to personalised learning, equality, diversity, and safeguarding. You’ll have a broad understanding of past, current and future design and be able to support students in developing higher specialist level skills and understanding.

With good industry knowledge, able to support work experience and industry placements, you will have a thorough understanding for what makes for excellent evidence-based teaching, learning and assessment including being a reflective practitioner, and have the ability to conceive and implement innovative approaches.

Please note that this post is funded for the 2024/25 academic year so the successful candidate would not be expected to commence in post prior to August 2024.

Subject to a cost of living review from 1 August, the successful candidate will be eligible for any subsequent increase in salary.
