Do you have a passion for leading and motivating people and love delivering for customers? At E.ON Next we're looking for an Operations Manager to lead the Credit Operation.

A taste of what you’ll be doing: 

Working within Credit Operations, you’ll be accountable for a proportion of our Residential debt book. You will be working with your team and wider Operation to resolve the debt, understanding the customer's circumstances and establishing and implementing sustainable and affordable solutions which prevent debt reoccurring.

Typically leading 4-5 teams, you’ll be responsible for enabling and encouraging delivery of excellence in every interaction with the customer. You’ll be working with your Team Leaders to coach and empower them with the skills to have autonomy over decisions related to the collections processes, financial discretion for resolving customer issues and the ability to implement new ideas that improve the lives of your teams and our customers. Continuous improvement is a way of life for us, so experience in lean management principles will stand you in good stead. 

Customer service is vigorous and can be tough – especially when it comes to collections. We’re looking for people who can deal with challenging situations and empathise with customers who are facing complex problems. At times you may be stretched across multiple internal and external issues, you may need to handle tricky issues and keep the team motivated.

You’ll be committed to creating a culture and environment that your people love. Looking after every aspect of your Team Leaders and Credit Specialists welfare at work, motivation, personal development and engagement and you’ll work with Team Leaders and other Operations Managers to identify and foster best practice approaches, tools and techniques that the wider business can use.

Having experience in Operational management, the energy industry and/or debt management will be key to success in this role.

  • Working environment: Flexible hybrid working – a blend of in the office and home working, with 2 days being required in the Bolton hub - E.ON Next, Aspinall House, Aspinall Cl, Horwich, Bolton BL6 6QQ
