When it comes to diagnosing EoE, doctors at AADAPC will remove a small tissue sample from the lining of the esophagus for laboratory analysis. A high presence of white blood cells found in the tissue sample will confirm the diagnosis of EoE, after which a doctor will recommend efficient treatments that include changing your diet, or use of anti-inflammatory medications.
