Location: London (Hybrid / Remote options available)

Hours: Part-time, 25 hours per week

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

The Role:

We’re working with an innovative, forward-thinking law firm that has reimagined what “private practice” can look like. They’re looking for an experienced employment solicitor to join their established team on a part-time basis. The role offers autonomy, flexibility and high-quality work without the full-time grind.

You’ll be advising a diverse client base on complex employment issues, ranging from strategic HR advice to contentious tribunal matters. This is an opportunity to step into a senior position where your expertise is genuinely valued and your schedule respects work-life balance.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide strategic advice across the full range of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious
  • Act as a trusted adviser to senior HR teams, boards and business owners
  • Manage your own client portfolio with the support of a strong internal network
  • Draft, review and negotiate contracts, policies and agreements
  • Represent clients in disputes, mediations and employment tribunal proceedings

Who You Are:

  • A solicitor with at least 8 years’ PQE in employment law
  • Commercially minded with excellent judgment and communication skills
  • Confident working autonomously while maintaining a collaborative approach
  • Looking for a flexible role that fits around life without compromising on quality of work

Why This Role Works:

  • 25-hour week offering genuine balance and flexibility
  • Varied, high-quality client work across multiple sectors
  • Supportive culture with access to resources, colleagues and tech that make remote practice seamless
  • No hierarchy, no rigid office hours, no presenteeism - just good lawyering done well
