We are now seeking a dedicated and inspiring SEN Secondary Teacher to join this exceptional team and play a key role in shaping positive outcomes for their students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the unique needs of students with a variety of additional needs (SEMH, ASD, ADHD). (MLD/SLD/PMLD)
  • Create and implement personalised learning programmes (EHCPs) that support both academic progress and emotional development.
  • Collaborate closely with Teaching Assistants, Senior Leadership Team, and families to maintain a consistent, supportive learning environment.
  • Employ creative, multisensory teaching strategies to ensure learning is accessible, enjoyable, and effective for all students.
  • Monitor student progress, evaluate learning outcomes, and contribute to the ongoing development of the school's SEN provision.

What we're looking for:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with experience, or a strong commitment to teaching students with SEN.
  • Enthusiastic about inclusive education and fostering a supportive classroom environment.
  • Confident in adapting lessons and teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Patient, compassionate, and able to build strong, trusting relationships with students.
  • Familiar with EHCPs, differentiation methods, and strategies to support behaviour and emotional regulation.
