As an administration assistant you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless business functions and supporting key departments.

Hours & Availability
Regular Hours: Monday - Thursday, 10:00 am - 3:30 pm (22 hours per week).
Availability: Essential availability to cover full-time hours for holiday and sickness cover as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the smooth running of the business by providing vital support to both Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger Managers. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of excellent customer service and meticulous work.
Service Coordination: Logging equipment breakdowns and efficiently dispatching information to engineers in the appropriate service areas.
Sales Support: Performing pre-arranged daily telesales calls to existing clients (no cold calls).
Order Processing: Accurately processing customer orders on a daily basis.
Payment Handling: Taking and processing card payments securely via our online terminal.
Data Management: Assisting with maintaining and updating customer and business databases.
Issue Resolution: Handling and resolving customer complaints with professionalism and empathy.
General Office Support: Performing general administrative and office duties, including filing and organisation.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Proven experience in an administrative or office-based role within customer service
Customer Focus: A strong understanding and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Accuracy: Meticulous attention to detail with accurate and concise work required.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and the ability to quickly learn our internal systems and payment terminals.
Conscientiousness: A reliable and proactive approach to daily tasks and responsibilities.
