Finance Manager - SME Business

Atkinson Moss is delighted to support a long standing, family run business based West of Norwich in their search for a new Finance Manager. Based in a picturesque location and with flexibility over hours, this is the perfect opportunity for a ‘hands on’ finance professional looking for a varied and enjoyable.

Reporting the Managing Director, key duties include:

  • Take responsibility for ensuring all financial processes, systems and controls are operating effectively
  • Responsibility for maintaining statutory records for the business
  • Budgets preparation including cash flow forecasts
  • Review and finalising of all management accounts
  • Management of sales ledger, purchase ledger, payroll and general ledger duties
  • Ensuring all supplier and customer accounts are accurate and up to date
  • Credit control
  • Handling VAT, PAYE and other elements of tax compliance
  • Liaise with external Auditors
  • Support with HR, Health & Safety tasks and maintaining accurate records
  • Oversight for commercial suppliers to include insurances, utilities and associated contracts

The ideal candidate will have proven financial leadership experience and will be able to demonstrate a level of strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
