Job Description:
We’re looking for a proactive Finance Administrator to play a key role in keeping our clients day-to-day financial operations running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone detail-oriented, organised, and eager to develop within a supportive and fast-moving business.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle sales ledger duties — processing invoices against customer purchase orders and reconciling customer accounts.
- Manage the accounts receivable ledger, including chasing outstanding invoices and maintaining accurate records of progress.
- Complete monthly staff expense reconciliations (ideally using Xero).
- Process and reconcile the company credit card account each month.
- Process supplier invoices, reconciling them to supplier statements to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Post basic journals and assist with the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Maintain and manage the fixed asset register, including posting depreciation and performing regular reconciliations.
- Oversee the finance team inbox, ensuring queries are managed promptly and efficiently.
- Support the team with ad-hoc administrative and finance tasks as required.
About You
- You’ll bring at least two years’ experience in a finance or administrative role.
- Strong Excel skills essential — you’re confident using formulas to analyse / interpret data.
- Experience with Xero(or a similar accounting system) would be a real advantage.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build good working relationships across the business.
- You’re self-motivated and organised, able to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
- Organised, numerate, methodical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
