Reed Finance are partnered exclusively with a repeat client in Didcot to recruit a part-time (25 hours) Finance Manager, on a perm basis, into their small and friendly team.

This role sits within a subsidiary of a large multinational Group company and so will have various touchpoints across the wider Group both in the UK and overseas.  You will be working closely with the main Finance team in the north of England as well as in mainland Europe, reporting into the UK FC and supporting a part-time Management Accountant on-site.

You will be a fully-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) – please note this role is not open to those qualified by experience - and will have previous experience working for a UK subsidiary of a larger Group in a standalone role or as part of a small team.

You must be comfortable with a very broad remit, and used to getting stuck in at all levels, and the ability to work independently in a very fast-paced environment.

Core duties include:

• Monthly rolling forecasting process across Profit & Loss, Balance sheet and Cashflow
• Short-term Budgeting and medium-term strategic planning
• Financial Reporting
• Fixed asset accounting and reporting of all capital expenditure also including accounting for IFRS 16 leased assets
• Work closely with local dept. heads and Group managers, providing insight and guidance on projects
• Tax accounting and monthly reporting across direct and indirect taxes
• Maintaining Financial processes and Controls, according to internal audit and Group procedure and compliance
• Lead on audit liaison and enquiries

You will also be supporting the part-time Management Accountant with:

• Month End schedules
• Expense and invoice management inc. intercompany recharging
• Monitoring travel expenses and reimbursement administration
• General Ledger maintenance
• Audit liaison and enquiries

Hours can be worked flexibly, although a consistent schedule that compliments the existing team is preferred. Salary offered is £60-65k FTE with good benefits, pleasant office facilities, and a warm and supportive working environment.
