We have a fantastic opportunity for a Bookkeeper with ALP Schools based at our Pierview Academy campus.

About The Role

As the successful Accounts Assistant you will provide a professional support service to the Finance Director for the efficient conduct of the school’s financial affairs and to ensure the day to day financial operations of the schools run effectively.

Additional Information

This is a full time, permanent position which is 41 weeks per year. You will also have to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

Essential Criteria

• Hold a recognised Accountancy qualification, level 4 or above
• Comprehensive understanding of double entry bookkeeping
• At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience
• Knowledge of cloud based accounting software
• Willing to work flexible hours as and when required

Desirable Criteria

• Payroll experience
• At least 1 year of school finance experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
