Part-Time Bookkeeper

Part-Time Bookkeeper | Outskirts of Maidstone (Office-Based) | Up to £30k DOE, pro rata

Our client, a well-established local company, is seeking an experienced Part Time Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a flexible, office based role that offers a great opportunity for someone looking to balance professional work with personal commitments ideal for those needing school-hour schedules or fixed working days.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping using Xero

• Reconcile bank, credit card, and supplier accounts

• Manage accounts payable and receivable

• Process and match sales orders, purchase orders, and invoices

• Direct Debits

• Credit Control

• Ensure all financial documentation is organised

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a bookkeeping role

• Proficient in Xero accounting software

• Excellent attention to detail and strong reconciliation and organisational skills

• Able to work independently and communicate effectively within a small team

• Comfortable working in-office 3 days per week or 5 shorter days

Preferred Qualifications

• AAT qualified (or equivalent certification)
