Our client, a reputable and long-established legal practice in Northwich, is seeking a highly motivated Family & Matrimonial Solicitor to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor looking to handle a strong matrimonial caseload while maintaining a flexible working pattern.

The Role

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload focused on matrimonial matters, including:

• Advising clients on divorce and separation

• Handling financial remedy matters and negotiating settlements

• Drafting and preparing all relevant matrimonial documentation

• Supporting clients through court proceedings where required

• Ensuring the highest standard of client care

There may also be some involvement in private children matters, depending on experience and preference.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Family/Matrimonial Solicitor

• Strong understanding of matrimonial legislation, procedure, and financial remedy work

• Excellent communication and empathetic client-handling skills

• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently

• Availability to work part-time within a flexible working arrangement
