Are you an experienced financial controller who has excellent organisational, analytical and planning skills?

Somnium are recruiting for a focused, performance driven individual to join the finance team of one of our clients. You will manage and develop the finance team in providing key financial details to the relevant stakeholders.

Role responsibilities for a financial controller:

• Lead and participate in all financial reporting
• Produce internal and external reports including month end management accounts
• Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control functions
• Supervise and manage the finance team
• Manage the financial budgeting process, including budget preparation and monthly reporting
• Suggest and implement updates and improvements for the accounting systems

Essential skills and experience required for a financial controller:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualification - or equivalent
• 3 year’s experience in a similar role
• Previous line management experience
• Experienced in statutory financial accounts preparation
• Strong excel skills
• Must be a team player
• Possess good IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe)
• Excellent telephone manner
• Strong and clear verbal and written English
