Based in Sittingbourne, an excellent firm of chartered accountants is searching for an Accounts Senior / Senior Accountant to join them as a key addition to their successful team. As you develop within this firm and role you will take on increasing responsibility in a hands on role, delivering accounts, management accounts, VAT, bookkeeping and planning services to a range of key clients within the firm and progressing in your career.

Our client has been experiencing very positive growth, mostly by organic means, having generated an excellent reputation and standing across the Surrey, Sussex and South-East region, and further afield.

You will focus on the delivery of accounts, management accounts, VAT, bookkeeping and planning services to a range of key clients within the firm.

• Preparing financial statements for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders 
  
• Preparation of corporate tax computations and returns
  
• Providing bookkeeping and management accounting services
  
• Supporting clients and staff with cloud accounting software
  
• Ensuring that accounting records for clients are maintained and kept up to date
  
• overseeing and preparing quarterly VAT returns
  

Accounts Senior / Senior Accountant- Sittingbourne

• Suitable applicants for this Accounts Senior / Senior Accountant position will be any of AAT, ACA, ACCA qualified or qualified by experience, with a career background in accountancy practice, working within small / medium / large independent firm background and/or, Top 50/ Mid or Top Tier firm experience.
  
• You will be likely operating around Accounts Semi Senior or senior level, or similar, delivering accounts and wider ranging accountancy practice services to a client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited company clients, across a wide spectrum of industries and turnover levels.

• £35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
