Credit Risk & Master Data Analyst Part-Time

We're delighted to announce that we're recruiting for a talented Credit Risk & Master Data Analyst at SThree!

The main focus of this role would be for the successful candidate to: assess and make decisions about new customer credit limits, using a range of criteria including, credit viability, customer payment history and customer credit-worthiness, process any Master Data changes, ensuring accuracy, assessing and mitigating any associated risk and ensuring change requests reflect external data provided by our credit partner.

This role supports the Accounts Receivables team in maximising cash collection through risk mitigation and managing the company's debt exposure. The role calls for someone with excellent communication skills as liaising with clients, colleagues and managers are important aspects of the job.

Examples of day-to-day tasks include the following

  • Provide credit risk solutions & best practices available for risk mitigation during account creation process
  • Review and maintain credit limits and exposure
  • Monthly review of movement in risk / credit limit of clients Maintain exception list of clients where manual credit limit provided
  • Improve awareness of credit risk best practice throughout the stakeholder community, driving positive cultural change by supporting and educating
  • Regular reporting on key areas of focus (high risk, high value, sector specific etc.)
  • Working closely with the credit controllers to assist their decision making with prioritising collections
  • Support in any credit related projects
  • Develop relationships with external credit partner for improved understanding of their credit evaluation and opinion

What skills and knowledge are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 3+ years in similar commercial credit risk environment
  • Previous experience in a similar role / industry is highly desirable
  • Essential Multi currency experience
  • Advanced experience of excel and producing KPI reports for senior stakeholders
  • Impeccable ability to understanding of financial statements, ratios and concepts
  • Strong skills in credit analysis, information presentation and influencing
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, making sound financial decisions
  • Multi lingual preferable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent IT, analytical, numerical, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and team working skills are also essential
  • Relevant risk or financial qualification desirable but not essential if qualified by experience
