HR Generalist - Part-time

HR Business Partner / HR Generalist. Part time 18-24 hours per week (Flexible on times/days)

LOCATION: Thetford - Norfolk

REPORTS TO: Regional HR Manager

THE BUSINESS

Our client is an expanding European company and a market leader in their specialist product.  They design, manufacture, sell and service their specialist product with sites at 2 locations in the UK and work closely with their European owners. 

In the UK they have just 30 employees, which means the team is small and agile. The business relies on all employees working closely together, involved in all aspects of the business to support service excellence and business growth.

Our client designs, manufactures and sells and premium product with high quality components.  They are currently planning to strive for growth, innovation and improved performance.

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor / HR Generalist who can work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to support on all operational HR matters, contributing to a positive employee experience and driving organisational success.

This is a busy generalist role with responsibilities across the full employee lifecycle. This will include recruitment, health management, talent development, diversity & inclusion, employee experience, EHS and more. It also requires shaping HR policies and internal communication.

In addition, you will be working closely with the SLT to improve the HR function to deliver and support with strategic change and business growth.

No two days will be the same and there’s a lot to develop so we require someone who enjoys a varied role with focus on HR and EHS.

RESPONSIBILTIES AND DUTIES

• Input and drive HR agenda to align with business objectives and needs

• Recruitment

• Organize training and development activities

• HR administration

• Support the teams in executing all activities on the HR agenda

• Support the teams on EHS matters

• Internal communications

• Internal and external stakeholder management

• Liaise with Regional HR Manager and UK Managing Director

PERSONAL PROFILE

• An experienced HR Business Partner with a proven track record of working in a profit organization

• A degree in Human Resources Management/CIPD qualified

• Ability to prioritize tasks throughout the day

• Self motivated and enthusiastic whilst remaining flexible and open to change

• UK Driving license and Happy to travel once a month to other sites

• Experience of MS Office and using electronic HR information systems

• Able to communicate and collaborate at all levels
