Fareham Nomads Swimming Club looking for a level 2 swim teacher to join their friendly team. Based in Fareham, Nomads Swimming Club has the ability to teach children to swim in Learn to Swim stage 1 though to 5 lessons and progress through to competitive squads. The Learn to Swim classes are taught out of Fareham Leisure Centre and run for 40 weeks of the year. We are looking for a fully qualified Level 2 ASA or STA Swimming Teacher to join the team.

This role involves teaching stage 4 and 5 lessons which is generally school age children and cover occasional stage 1-3 classes which start at age 4 onwards. The club are also looking to expand to Level 6 and possibly level 7 in the future.

The lessons take place on Mondays and Fridays only and will be 2 hours per week. No weekend work. We also have a coaching role available so additional hours could be available if you also carry a coaching Level 2 qualification as well.

Qualification Required:

Successful applicants will be required to have a STA or ASA qualification in teaching and will be required to complete swim England safeguarding training if not already completed. A DBS certificate will also be required but Fareham Nomads can organise this for you upon employment.

All equipment is stored at our pools, therefore teachers are not expected to take them away and wash them.

Hours will include: Monday and Friday 18:30 - 19:30
