Chichester College have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a International Social Programme Co-ordinator at our Chichester campus. You will join us on a part time, permanent basisand in return, we will offer a competitive salary ofPro rata of £22,079 per annum (i.e. £11,039.50).

The International Social Programme Co-ordinator role:

Are you looking for an engaging and varied part time role co-ordinating and promoting a wide range of fun and exciting activities and making our international students’ stay at college a truly memorable one?

As our International Social Programme Co-ordinator, you will offer and promote a wide range of activities, in conjunction with our Student Experience team, which will compliment and add value to the students' College experience. These events and activities have previously included trips to Stonehenge, Roman Baths and Palaces, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and the Brighton i360 as well as other activities such as go-karting, cinema, bowling – the possibilities are endless!

The working hours for this role will be discussed at interview, although we will be flexible to meet business need, including fitting hours around the school run if this is something you require. Some evening and weekend work will be required.

Key Responsibilities of ourInternational Social Programme Co-ordinator:

  • Co-ordinating and providing administrative support to all international student events. 
  • Organising and co-ordinating the delivery of the social programme.
  • Raising awareness of the College enrichment programme with all international students. 
  • Organising fundraising events.
  • Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the programme.
  • Supporting the College's student union and its activities as part of its cross college enrichment programme. 
  • Managing the communication system.
  • Developing and maintaining external partnerships. 

Our ideal International Social Programme Co-ordinatorshould have the below skills and experience:

  • Experience working with a diverse range of young people
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C or above
  • The ability to communicate to a diverse range of people at all levels, verbally and in writing, including non-native speakers of English
  • Flexible and proactive approach
