We are Nurtured Care Services, a high quality care and support service in Telford, Shropshire who are passionate about supporting children, young people and young adults with a mixture of challenging behaviors, mental health support and/or clinical support needs.

Job Title - Care Support Worker

Salary - £12.00 per hour (£60 for sleep ins)

Hours - Part time 24 hour contract & Overtime

Shifts -

- Day & Night Shifts available

- 12 hour shifts

- Alternating Weekends

Shift Pattern:

· 8am to 11pm

· 11pm to 8am (sleep-in)

· 8pm to 8am (wake nights, if required)

Must be flexible with hours days/waking/sleep nights and weekends.

Preferred Requirements (not essential):

- Driving licence

- Previous experience in a similar setting or role

- L3 in Children & young people or L3 in health and social care

- Clinical or mental health experience

- Good Communication skills

- Good record keeping skills

- Safeguarding Knowledge

- Experience within children or young people care is highly beneficial.

Description of Role:

Supporting YP with challenging behaviors, mental health support needs and/or clinical support needs.

Providing safe spaces for all YP’s

Medication administration

Activity planning

Daily living skill development

Clinical management of diagnosed conditions

Support to medical appointments and professional meetings

Support with educational needs
