Your new company:

You will be working for a medium-sized business, based in Crawley. This is a part-time (approx 20 hours a week), permanent role where you will take responsibility for all credit control and sales ledger duties.

Your new role:

Working within a small finance team, you will be tasked with accurately maintaining the sales ledger, and keeping aged debt to a minimum. Your duties will include:

• Proactivity contacting customers to discuss due and overdue payments
• Chasing due payments by telephone, email and letter
• Working with customers and internal colleagues to resolve invoice related queries
• Accurately posting payments to the correct customer accounts
• Attending weekly debtor reviews with the Finance Manager to review the status of accounts and identify any potential issues
• Reconciling customer accounts and keeping all records updated
• Running aged debt reports

What you\'ll need to succeed:

You will have previously worked in a similar credit control position, and be confident in taking ownership of the entire ledger of accounts. You will have a proven track record of collecting payments and keeping aged debt to a minimum. Professional communication skills and the ability to building solid working relationships at all levels is also required.
