Receptionist/Administrator

On behalf of our client, we're looking for a Receptionist/Admin Assistant for an immediate start, temp to perm assignment.

The ideal candidate would have relevant experience, good computer skills, and a good telephone manner but a full, role relevant training will be given.

It's a Monday to Friday role - rota-based (some flexibility in working hours can be offered for the right candidate).

£11.44 p/h

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Using the system and database to make, change, and update appointments
  • Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Perform other clerical/ admin duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing
Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role
  • Proficient in data entry, administrative procedures, and office management systems
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. printers)
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office/ Good IT Skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
It's a very flexible role in which either part-time or full-time hours can be offered.

You'd be based permanently in Dorchester branch, however, you'd be required to work in Portesham location when the need arises.
