Berry Recruitment are looking for an Event Manager for a well established Event Catering Company based in North Northamptonshire.

This is an award-winning premium event catering company which was created over 20 years ago and are still passionate about food. They cater for a wide range of events from private dinner parties to weddings and formal balls. Combining their passion with local produce, innovative chefs, and extensive experience in catering, they provide an experience to remember. Originating from a beautiful, small, family-run farm in Northamptonshire, the company caters for events throughout East Anglia, including Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire as well as the Midlands and beyond.

What does the ideal candidate look like?

• Strong background in catering and event management with the passion for creating memorable culinary experiences.
• Experience managing staff with excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities and can remain calm under pressure.
• Detail orientated
• Have a reliable mode of transport or are looking to relocate to the area.
• Fine Dining experience preferred but not essential.
• Driving License a must have.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with bride and groom to design their menu and meet their preferences and dietary requirements.
• Coordinate with venue staff to ensure seem-less setup, service, and breakdown of wedding or event.
• Manage front of house staff including bar tenders and waiters and liaise with kitchen and back of house staff to deliver high quality service and uphold company standards.
• Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Work closely with event planners and venue staff to synchronise time-lines and logistics for a smooth event execution.

Salary in the region of £28-£32K
