Part-time Finance Officer | Shrewsbury/Hybrid | Permanent | £27,000 FTE

Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a part-time role?

We are delighted to support a Shrewsbury based charity who are looking for an enthusiastic person to join their finance team. Flexibility is available for the right person with the requirement being to work 20 hours per week across 4 days, with hours to suit and the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis. You will have excellent communications as you will be required to liaise with colleagues across different departments in this friendly organisation with a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, key areas of responsibility will include:

• Sole responsibility for the sales and purchase ledgers.
• Bank and payment reconciliations.
• Dealing with supplier invoices and payment queries.
• Processing employee expense claims.
• Supporting with the purchase order process
• Supporting with the month end close.
• Ad hoc financial analysis tasks.

You will be able to demonstrate:

• At least 3 years in a similar role.
• Good Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• An inquisitive and analytical approach.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
