A friendly Payroll provider offering comprehensive payroll and pension auto-enrolment services to a diverse range of companies nationwide are seeking a Payroll Specialist to play a crucial role in the day-to-day management of client payrolls, including weekly, fortnightly, 4-weekly, and monthly schedules. This position is ideal for someone with experience in a payroll department or bureau who is looking to make a significant impact within a team.

Day to day of the role:
  • Processing various client payrolls on a weekly, fortnightly, 4-weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Handling all aspects of payroll, including maternity, sick, holiday pay, and pension auto-enrolment assistance.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients, addressing and resolving payroll-related inquiries.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a payroll environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Brightpay and Xero Payroll would be advantageous.
  • Experience working within a Payroll Bureau is desirable.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Competent in the use of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
