Job title: Fractional Finance Director

Package: £650+ per day

Location: London / Hybrid

Job type: Part-time (eventually 1-2 days per month, more initially)

The Client

Our client is a global travel company specialising in tailor-made, luxury holiday experiences.

They are seeking a Fractional Finance Director for an exciting new position, to sit alongside the recently created board and help guide the company’s future growth.

Fractional Finance Director -The Role

As a hands-on Fractional Finance Director with strong SME experience, you will support the Finance Manager with introducing processes and controls to tighten up the finance function and help with next stage growth plans. Experience in the travel industry, or a similar tight-margin sector and knowledge of raising finances will be advantageous.

Using your experience and insight you will work alongside the existing team in a guiding and supportive way, to drive forward the next stages of their development. An awareness of international tax implications, specifically in relation to the US, is essential.

The Successful Applicant

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) who can drive forward change collaboratively.

Ideally you will demonstrate:

• Previous experience of working in the Luxury Travel sector;
• Previous experience of US operations;
• Excellent data analysis and Excel skills;
• Ability to create different scenario finance models to assist decision making;
• Excellent communication skills;
• 3 years+ experience in a high-growth SME;
• Working knowledge of Xero;
• A pragmatic, self-motivated and proactive mindset;
• Experience in raising funds is an advantage.
