Our client, based in Gloucester, is seeking a dedicated Legal Secretary to join their esteemed Family Department on a part-time basis.
This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced lawyers in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and letters.
Utilise strong copy and audio typing skills to produce accurate documentation.
Assist with filing, document collation, diary management, and client correspondence.
Handle sensitive client matters with professionalism and discretion.
Attend face-to-face client meetings, taking detailed notes as required.
Utilise software such as bighand, ccms, and court portals as necessary.
Requirements of the Legal Secretary:
Proficiency in fast and accurate typing.
Ability to draft non-legal correspondence.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Comfortable using email and other systems for daily work.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, bundle docs, and Dropbox is advantageous.
Hours: Part-time (3-4 days) Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience. Bonus scheme available. Holiday entitlement depends on working hours. Flexible working conditions.
