Support Worker

Job Title: Support Worker (female only)
Location: Crowborough, TN6
Pay rate: £17-£18 per hour
Job Type: Full or part time available - Live in care also an option
Shift and schedule: Sunday to Thursday (days and nights) 24 hour shifts.

Priority Recruitment are excited to present this brand-new opportunity for a Support Worker in Crowborough.
This is an excellent opportunity to support an 18-year-old individual in his own home. The client lives with autism and anxiety. The role would be buddy-style support, including going for walks, going out for coffee or to the gym, playing video games, and providing general companionship and support.
We are searching for an experienced Support Worker who shares our belief that disability is not a barrier and doesn’t have to stop anyone from living their best life and enjoying new and varied experiences. Please note a driver's license is required for this role.

Salary & Benefits:

Client and Role:
  • The client is a young individual living with autism and anxiety. The role is supporting him at his own home.
  • The activities might involve days out, watching TV, getting coffee, going swimming or trampolining.

Successful Applicant:
  • Must have at least 6 months of previous experience in healthcare.
  • Must have a driver’s license.
  • Must have previous experience dealing with clients living with autism.
  • Must be female*.
