Warehouse/ Operations assistant- PART TIME

We are looking for a part time Warehouse/ Operations assistant.

The operation Assistant is responsible for managing the storekeeping and inventory operations efficiently. They oversee the storage, distribution, and maintenance of spare parts, accessories, and other inventory items. The Storekeeper Manager ensures accurate stock levels, efficient order processing, and compliance with safety and inventory management standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of spare parts, accessories, and other inventory items.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and replenishment
needs.
• Process spare parts orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct items are selected, priced, and packaged for delivery on time.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of inventory levels, stock movements, and order processing activities.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory turnover, order fulfilment, and stock accuracy.
• Collaborate with the accounting department for proper billing, invoicing, and reconciliation of inventory-related financial transactions.
• Inspect incoming spare parts and inventory items for quality, accuracy, and compliance with dealership standards.
• Address and rectify discrepancies in received items and initiate the return process for damaged or substandard items.
• Implement quality control measures to prevent the distribution of defective or incorrect parts.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations in the storekeeping area.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, addressing any hazards or potential risks promptly.
• Conduct regular safety training sessions for storekeeping staff.
• Optimize storage space, ensuring efficient layout and organization of spare parts and inventory items.
• Implement visual management techniques to enhance inventory visibility and accessibility.
• Monitor storage conditions to prevent damage or deterioration of inventory items.
• Communicate with internal teams regarding inventory levels, order statuses, and stock availability.
• Address inquiries and concerns from internal teams and customers professionally and
promptly.
• Greet customers warmly and assist them in identifying the correct spare parts and accessories for their vehicles.
• Listen to customer inquiries, provide detailed information about products, and offer suitable recommendations.

Mon - Fri 10:00 - 15:00
