Market Research Analyst

Our client, a leading and growing company, are looking for a part-time Market Research Analyst to join their fun and vibrant team in Brighton for 4 days a week. This role is based in Brighton but is open to hybrid and remote workers all over the UK.
As a Market Research Analyst, you will be responsible for developing an exciting new and growing side of the business, working closely with the Head of Creative Services & Insights to develop replicable research products that deliver high value to their clients.
You must have a deep understanding of research methodologies, project management principles and a go-getting nature!

Responsibilities as a Market Researcher Analyst
- Take the lead in suggesting and working on research projects with different teams to create combined product and service offerings
- Use a practical approach to find opportunities in student recruitment for research products that can be used by many clients
- Share your ideas and insights at conferences and webinars to show you're up to speed, using findings from our Research Club projects
- Understand what our clients really need so we can go above and beyond with our research proposals and reports.
- Manage the whole process of market research projects, from planning to analysis and presenting the results
- Carry out surveys and research using different methods like questionnaires, focus groups, interviews, and digital research
- Work with external freelancers and partners to add skills to our projects and build a network of trustworthy collaborators
- Having a handle on higher education data and knowing how to use it would be a plus
- Our brand and targeting work for clients relies on knowing where they stand, so digging into research is a big part of what we do
- Keep up in a fast-paced environment, showing resilience, collaboration, and strong organizational skills to get projects done on time
Experience / Skills
- Experience in project management - PRINCE2 certification or a similar project management qualification would be advantageous
- Background in qualitative market research
- Proficiency in quantitative market research methodologies
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis
- Qualified or partially qualified in CIM or a related professional qualification
- Experience in client management, either internally (if on the client side) or externally (if on the agency side)
- Effective presentation skills, both in written and verbal communication
- Preferred experience of working within or alongside universities
- Membership in the Market Research Society (MRS) would be beneficial
- Possession of an MRS Qualification is considered desirable
Job Title: Market Researcher Analyst
Location: Brighton based but can be either hybrid or fully remote
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Part Time: 4 days per week, with the opportunity to increase
