HR Manager

Reed in Norwich are delighted to be working with our client to support them with a HR Manager position.

Working with the SLT, you will be the go-to for all HR requirements for the business. Ideally you will be seeking full time hours however our client would accept applications from part time applications.

Duties include:

• Ensure the effective operation of systems, policies and personnel forms, and the development of its human resource service ensuring compliance with employment law and appropriate legislation.

• To manage and coordinate HR processes in accordance with all Personnel policies, and participate in the policy development process.

• Trigger the timely review of personnel policies in accordance with regulatory requirements.

• To compile and provide a monthly HR matters email business with local and national relevant updates sourced from the HR Service Provider, disability publications etc.

• Responsible for ensuring that all personnel-related casework and organisational restructuring proposals are completed within required timescales and policies, including review of written reports and conclusions and confirming and where necessary revising these to produce final documents.

• Act as the lead officer for complex employment matters including disciplinary, grievance and safeguarding and manage these processes to conclusion

• Oversee the Single Central records, check compliance as part of visits to business and instruct to make changes where necessary

• Advise on the restructure process, reviewing proposals, advising on content and providing details of redundancy and strain costs.

• To instigate, attend and contribute to grading review meetings when required. Communicate decisions to SLT

• Coordinate and participate in facilities time meetings, acting as the HR representative to record action points, share and implement as appropriate.

• To act as the point of contact for the purposes of agreeing Settlement Agreements and confirm the conditions are in accordance with the policies.

• To ensure that all aspects relating to work status and registration, immigration and sponsorship are followed, including liaison with all relevant parties as necessary . To include managing the Right to Work process for non-British nationals

• To issue and advise on completion of personnel risk assessments, e.g. stress, pregnancy return to work.

• In conjunction with the payroll provider, produce and analyse gender pay gap report, making recommendations as necessary

• Support the production of management information and key performance indicators for the Executive Team. (e.g gender pay, absence; succession planning etc), to include reporting data as appropriate to the Office for National Statistics.

Due to visiting various offices you must hold a full driving license.
