We have an exclusive partnership with our client in Milton Keynes, who are looking for an administrator to join their collaborative team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of customer orders and supplier deliveries. You will part of a supportive and familial work environment where collaboration is key.

Responsibilities and duties include:

  • Assisting in the management of goods inwards and outwards within our compact office storeroom.
  • Verifying part numbers and quantities against purchase orders and processing them using Sage software.
  • Assisting in labelling and packing goods according to company standards.
  • Supporting the preparation of customer deliveries, including preparing courier labels and despatch notes.
  • Providing assistance to courier drivers during their arrivals for both deliveries and collections of goods.
  • Helping with the processing of sales orders, supplier purchase orders, and other related documentation.
  • Assisting with credit checks, supplier order confirmations, customer acknowledgments, and customer invoicing.
  • Contributing to the management of order backlogs and ensuring timely processing.
  • Participating in the handling of Returned Materials (RMAs) as needed.
  • Supporting storeroom upkeep tasks and participating in stock takes to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing daily mail, managing email correspondence, and performing general office duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and procuring consumables and stationery.
  • Efficiently answering telephone calls with a composed and professional demeanour, ensuring calls are directed to the appropriate recipients within the office.

The Candidate

You should possess strong attention to detail and organisation skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, practical judgement and be excited and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be proficient with Microsoft Office and be keen to develop your knowledge with inhouse systems; for which full training will be provided.

Remuneration

o Salary: £11.44 per hour

o Monday to Friday - Approx 5 hours per day - flexible start and finish times (office based)

o 25 days holiday plus statutory days (pro-rated)
