Data Protection Lawyer - Remote role - but must be able to attend meetings mainly in London, Kent and Sussex

Modern professional services firm with offices throughout the UK are expanding their data protection / privacy offering and are therefore looking to recruit a qualified lawyer (Solicitor or Legal Executive) experienced and a specialist in this area of law.

This is a rare opportunity to join the firms Corporate/Commercial team to help develop the data protection specialism and really make it your own.  The role will involve providing GDPR and data protection advice to the firms commercial clients but also to their wider client base too including charities and pharmaceutical clients.

They are looking to recruit at senior associate level and therefore you will be a qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE and you will have or be developing a specialism in advising on data protection and GDPR matters.  To include reviewing, drafting and advising on privacy documents, data sharing agreements, advising in relation to data breaches and GDPR compliance.  A background from a law firm or another commercial professional services firm would be preferred.  

There is so much work in this area, even though no active marketing has been done to date, therefore this is such a significant opportunity for the right person.
