We’re very proud to be supporting The VoiceOver Network (The VON) to hire two new part-time Magazine Advertising and Event Sponsorship Sales Execs.

Founder, Rachael Naylor, is a renowned voiceover artist and actor (you’ve probably heard her voice on TV!), and she launched The VON in 2015 to support an expanding community of voiceover artists. The team at the VON provides information, resources, and opportunities that empower voice actors around the world to have the life they deserve.

Where do you fit in as one of the new Advert and Event Sponsorship Sales Execs?

You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the Founder to gain premium advertisers for the company’s magazine. It is a quarterly, physical magazine that is sent around the world to voiceover artists, both established and those just starting out. Indeed, it’s the only magazine being published for this community so space in it for key advertisers who want to get in front of this community is a hot property. We need your ad sales skills to find, nurture and close advertising opportunities with the right type of company for this audience.

You will also have the opportunity to sell sponsorship packages to these advertisers for the London and Los Angeles Get Your Game On events. They are in-person voiceover conferences and the only events in the world dedicated to voice acting in video games.

Do you think your ad sales and event sponsorship skills are up to securing lucrative and useful partnerships to help this community of the world’s leading voiceover artists?

Ultimately you will become the glue between the companies who serve these audiences around the world by way of the magazine as well as the online and in-person events.

To do well in this role of Ad Sales and Event Sponsorship, we’d like to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Experience as a phone-based advertising sales and/or event sponsorship sales
  • Looking for a part-time role of 10 hours per week
  • A proven ability to find, nurture and close meaningful relationships and ad sales opportunities
  • You enjoy learning new systems including the CRM (Keap)
  • Thrive in an environment where the CEO is ambitious and passionate

Hourly rate: £12 per hour

Bonus per month: £1000 or more (based on 10 hours per week)

Monthly OTE: approx. from £1520 per month based on 10 hours per week
