Finance Manager Part time

A great opportunity has arisen to join a successful SME business as an experienced Finance Manager based in North Kent on a part time, permanent basis (3 to 4 days per week). This is a very hands-on role which will suit someone who is not afraid to get stuck in!

Duties will include:

  • Overseeing the entire accounts department
  • Budgets and cash flow forecasts
  • Creating P&L across the departments
  • Preparation and analysis of management accounts and statutory accounts
  • Developing and implementing financial policies, procedures and systems
  • Submitting VAT and CIS returns
  • All aspects of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Credit Control
  • HMRC and company tax requirements

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience within a similar role
  • Have working knowledge of CIS
  • Be confident in developing and implementing new procedures
  • Be able to work well independently

Formal qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) would be desirable, but not essential.
