At Another we are currently looking to recruit for a HR Advisor on a part time basis to provide ongoing high quality employee relations and case management support to an established organisation within North Yorkshire. Working within a small HR Advisory team, you will also have the opportunity to provide performance coaching and development along with supporting on policy development. This is an exciting opportunity, requiring excellent stakeholder management experience where you will demonstrate real value.

Role

• Provide ongoing advise and support on case management and employee relations issues.
• Deliver a HR Advisory service providing timely and credible advice on all people management matters.
• Identify and deliver development to line management to improve their ownership of and capability to manage employee relations matters.
• Contribute to the development, maintenance and management of policies.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of current and impending legislation, identifying and addressing any impact on policies and procedures as appropriate.
• Contribute to the development and agreement of service level agreements and key performance indicators with key stakeholders and colleagues as appropriate.
• Provide insight and analysis on key issues and trends to assist in targeting support.
• Undertake research or project work on key issues or specific initiatives as required.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, unions and staff associations.

Skills

• Ideally be CIPD qualified or the equivalent
• Proven experience of working as a HR Advisor ideally gained in a unionised environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience of coaching and developing line managers to resolve issues
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends analysing data and provide pragmatic solutions which mitigate risk.
• Strong communication skills and an ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
