Learning Support Assistant
Salary -£23,400 per annum pro rata

Hours of work will be based on 22.5 hours per week (some flexibility may be agreed around the number of hours required), working on a flexible basis to include evenings and weekends. Actual hours of work are to be decided by the line manager.

Fircroft is a residential college occupying a former Cadbury family home, set on six acres of beautiful grounds in Selly Oak, Birmingham. We were originally founded to provide educational opportunities for some of the most disadvantaged and excluded members of society. We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to provide learning and pastoral support to students and assist with the work of Student Services.

To be considered for this role you must have good experience and knowledge of a range of learning needs, difficulties and dealing with people with different requirements and have experience in successfully implementing a range of learning support strategies.

The right person will be someone who enjoys working at a fast pace with a variety of different tasks, who is self- managed with a strong work ethic, who has a positive outlook and a 'can do’ attitude and who is a completer/finisher.
