Personal Tax Senior Manager

A top tier Canterbury based Chartered Accountancy Firm requires a Personal Tax Senior Manager to join their hard-working Tax team. The Private Client Team service their diverse range of clients across the UK and Worldwide providing expertise in all aspects of tax as well as collaborating across the whole Firm to deliver wider business solutions. As a Personal Tax Senior Manager, you will provide tax compliance and advisory services to a range of clients, taking responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients. You will be involved in special assignments on an ad hoc basis working alongside ADs and Partners.

  • Oversee and manage the delivery of a comprehensive range of tax services for private clients.
  • Act as the first point of contact for a portfolio of clients, providing advice and guidance.
  • Lead and develop a team of tax professionals, encouraging continuous professional growth.
  • Develop strategies and innovative tax planning ideas for clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and represent the firm at networking events.

Requirements

The Personal Tax Senior Manager will be:

  • ACA or ACCA and/or CTA qualified or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a similar senior management role within a practice environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK tax legislation and private client tax.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and mentor a team.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. 
  • Proven track record in business development and networking. 
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional integrity and quality.
