Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant - Part Time ( 2 days a week )

Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 pro rata, dependant on experience, incl benefits.

Job Summary

An unique opportunity for a Part Time Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant, full or part qualified- AAT or AAC, to join this highly successful global design agency based in South London/Surrey. Supporting the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for general bookkeeping and accounting and general accounting tasksusing Sage. We are ideally looking for someone with previous experience working in an international accounting, including the US.

Overall Responsibility

You will have responsibility for general bookkeeping and accounting tasks, responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:-

  • General bookkeeping (accounts payable/accounts receivable)
  • Recording transactions on Sage 50 accounting software
  • Raising invoices as required and directed by the financial controller
  • Managing filing of documents efficiently both on the system and manually
  • General administrative activities
  • Holiday cover for team members, assisting with required tasks
  • Assisting the Financial controller with designated tasks

Job Skills & Qualifications:

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience
  • Experienced in international accounting highly adventageous.
  • Be full or part qualified AAT or ACCA
  • Experience using Sage 50 accounting softwear.
  • Be highly skilled in using Excel spreadsheets
  • Have high levels of integrity and dependability
  • Experience in MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel).
  • Ability to balance and own workload.
  • Flexible and self-motivated with the energy and drive to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
  • German speaking adventageous but not essential.
