Reed Practice are currently working with an Otley based, family orientated firm who are on the hunt for a Qualified Accountant, that can come in and hit the ground running due to an increased workload. This practice is big on progression, so they are looking for an individual that is wanting to take their career to the next level.

• 36.25 hour week Monday- Friday (part time hours available)

Duties:

• Preparation and review of statutory accounts
• Completion of Personal tax returns
• Completion of Corporation tax returns
• Completion of more complex VAT returns and checking VAT returns
• Advising Clients on use of bookkeeping software
• Overseeing work of Junior staff
• Tax planning for clients
• Answering any queries clients may have

About you:

• ACCA/ACA fully qualified
• Confident communicator
• Practice experience (at least 5 years would be advantageous)
• Experience using Iris, Sage, QuickBooks and Xero
• IT literate
• Experience transitioning clients onto MTD 
• Ability to prioritise and work within tight deadlines
• Ability to work on their own as well as working within a team
