Personal Tax Senior Part-time

An Independent accountancy firm are looking to provide further experience to their tax team with the addition of a Personal Tax Senior on a part-time basis. With flexibility to work between 18-30 hours across short or longer days this offers great flexibility for those looking to juggle other life commitments around their work.

Applicants will have a minimum of 3 years personal tax compliance experience gained from a UK accounting firm with a confident ability to prepare their own self-assessment tax returns to a high standard ready for Partner review.

with your own portfolio of clients ranging from HNWI, Partnerships and Directors you will be given a high level of responsibility to manage your clients from day to day ensuring their returns are filed timely and you are on hand to deal with any tax planning queries they are likely to have throughout the year.

As part of your role you will regularly liaise with more senior tax professionals within the firm seeking guidance as well as outside bodies including the HMRC. Your ability to communicate through written and oral skills is paramount, developing rapport must come naturally.

We are looking for applicants to be ATT part or fully qualified, although those with the relevant experience are also considered.

Organisation and time management skills are essential to ensure you can comfortably manage multiple client returns at the same time and within filing deadline.

There will be the opportunity in the future to adjust your hours if you need to increase or decrease sightly. The role can also be split between working from home and the office giving you flexibility.

A car park is available on site and the firm also have excellent transport links.
