Tax Manager, Professional Standards - Fully Remote Role - Membership Body - Circa £45,000-£49,000 plus benefits package

Robert Walters are hiring for a Tax Manager, Professional Standards for a leading membership organisation for tax professionals.

This is a fully remote role available on either a full-time or part-time basis; This is not a practice role, this is an in-house position.

The role comes with a salary of circa £45,000-£49,000 plus benefits package.

Working closely with the Head of Professional Standards, the Tax Manager, Professional Standards will be responsible for a varied role advising members and member firms of this organisation on a range of professional standards issues.

This includes:

- Responding to queries from members or firms on professional standards, ethical or AML queries

- Creating content for the website and news letters on professional standards topics

- Conducting virtual visits to member firms to advise on AML processes

- Drafting consultations responses, attending working party meetings

- Supporting the Head of Professional Standards on a range of policy, guidance and project work

The organisation are looking for someone with a background working in the profession in a tax or accounting firm, ideally someone holding a professional qualification (ATT / AAT / CTA / ACA / ACCA etc.)

No specific knowledge of professional standards is needed; Experience with AML would be beneficial but is not mandatory
