Job Title: Cleaning Assistant, Stainton Primary School
Rate of Pay: £11.44 ph
Location: Fairybead Ln, Stainton, Penrith CA11 0ET
Contract Type: Part-Time, Permanent, Term Time (plus 5 weeks)
Weekly Hours: 15 hours Monday - Friday
Start Date: ASAP

As a cleaning assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in various areas. This is an important role that contributes to the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the school facility.

You pride yourself on ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to, whilst striving to maintain a perfectly clean environment.

Responsibilities:
* Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
* Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
* Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as classrooms, hall, hallways, lobbies, and break rooms
* Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed
* Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
* Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor

What we need from you:
* Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not required
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
* Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary
* Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient completion of assigned duties
* Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors
