Mobile Carer

Gi Group are recruiting for a Support Worker and mobile carer to join a family run business!
Our Client , a private family-run Care business, who support vulnerable adults on a day-to-day basis are looking to expand their team.

The main purpose of the role is to provide social care companionship and assist with social activities in the client's home for around 20 hours per week.

Care Duties include light domestic duties including meal preparation, assisting with household administration, shopping, trips out, and accompanying clients to appointments when needed.

Due to the nature of this care role, a full UK driving licence is required with business insurance.
Care experience isn't essential but is desirable.

Full training will be provided.

Candidates applying must have excellent communication skills, organisational skills, be self-motivated, and able to use own initiative.

The work will include weekends and bank holidays, so you will need to be flexible and available 7 days a week. The role is based in Scarborough and surrounding areas.

It is a condition of employment to have had at least 2 covid vaccination doses or a valid medical exemption certificate.
