Position: Cut and Crease Operator

Location: Welwyn Garden City

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, double day shifts of 06:00-14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00 rotating weekly.

Salary: Competitive + Overtime

Purpose of a Cut and Crease Operator:

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Cut & Crease Machine Minder (die-cuttting machine operator) to work with my clients finishing department. As a valued member of the Cut & Crease department team, you will be responsible for operating our Bobst Novacut 106 machines. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic with at least two years of experience in running Cut&Crease (Die-cutting) machines.

You should be a team player with good supervisory skills and with a positive attitude to achieving the best outcome for our customers. They are looking for someone who is keen to be a proactive member of the production team, with a high level of motivation to ensure time and quality targets are met, and has a 'can-do' attitude to solving problems and developing more efficient ways of working.

Experience required for a Cut and Crease Operator:

• All aspects of Making Ready & Running the Die-Cutting
• Maintenance of the Die-cutting machines
• All aspects of preparing and successful troubleshooting with the Cut and Crease tooling (cutting dies, speed strip dies, female stripping dies).
• All aspects of using Counters and Creasing Matrix for Making Ready
• All aspects of making ready and running with Embossing/Debossing dies
